Wednesday, August 28th
9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Now in its 13th year, WesHAUL has become a Wesleyan tradition. Volunteers are needed in various capacities, including welcoming families and students at the Student Resource Pavilion, mingling with new families at lunch, and lending muscle power and enthusiasm as students settle into their new homes. There's a role for everyone.
We need volunteers to commit 2-3 hours between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Wednesday, August 28. All volunteers will be provided continental breakfast and lunch on Arrival Day.
Also, new volunteers will be given an awesome WesHAUL t-shirt! We ask those faculty and staff members that have volunteered in past years to please wear the WesHAUL t-shirts that were already provided.
Note to parents and alumni with upperclassmen students currently at Wes:
We appreciate your willingness to volunteer and understand the convenience for you to move your son/daughter in early; however WesHAUL is not intended to provide an opportunity for your son/daughter to move in early, as Residence Life has a set move-in schedule with a specific number of expected students to manage. WesHAUL is intended for parents/alumni who are local and available to come to campus for the day to help and do not need special accommodations made for them or their student(s).
Please register by Friday, August 23
