An extended interview with Sharon Purdie ’74.
This week Mia Lobel ’97 interviews Sharon Purdie from the class of 1974—the first graduating class to include women who had been admitted as frosh. Sharon majored in Psychology at Wesleyan and went on to earn her Ph.D. in Psychology at the University of Minnesota. She worked at AT&T for 19 years and is now retired. Sharon’s daughter Sherry Purdie Sybertz is a member of the class of 2010.
