The Wesleyan Latino Alumni Network strives to connect Latino Alumni to each other, to the current student body, and to the larger Wesleyan community.

WesLAN encourages all kinds of alumni involvement!

The Latino Alumni Council (LAC) includes alumni volunteers who choose to serve as representative members of WesLAN on campus and who organize events on behalf of WesLAN.

WesLAN volunteers are any member of the Network who would like to volunteer to help with a specific event and/or topic, or a member who has expertise they could to share with the Network if asked (for example, they would serve as a speaker in a panel, or an alumni interviewer etc.)

WesLAN members: are ALL Latino alumni. Members are expected to help when they can, but more importantly, are encouraged to attend events, share ideas and information about themselves and their friends, and contribute to the overall community.

What’s different?

WesLAN is inclusive - you don’t have to be a Latino alumnus/a to want to volunteer for the causes and events that are generated through the Network.

WesLAN is everywhere - See if there are any local events in your area. Also join the WesLAN Group Page in Wesconnect. Post events, photos, class notes, and get a quick "at-a-glance" map view of where other group members are located around the country. If there is no local contact, consider becoming one today!

WesLAN is connected — One of WesLAN’s main goals is to establish better connections among alumni and between alumni, students and the university. Help us to build the network!
