• New book: Beyond the University
President Roth’s new book Beyond the University: Why Liberal Education Matters (Yale University Press) is generating lots of excitement – on the radio, on television and in the op-ed columns of the nation’s most important papers. Audiences around the country are hearing about the value of liberal education and associating that with Wesleyan. And that’s not the only contribution the book is making to our university. All author royalties (thank you Michael!) are going entirely to financial aid. Beyond the University: Why Liberal Education Matters is a win-win for Wes!
