Support Khan ’12: Vote Brighter Dawns in Dell Challenge

[Tasmiha Khan’12] Brighter Dawns is a nonprofit that brings preventative health solutions to slums in Bangladesh. Tasmiha Khan '12 founded it at Wesleyan, with other students and alumni. The non-profit is now one of the finalists in the Dell Social Innovation Challenge--and they need your vote by April 8th!

We turn broken wells and latrines into vital resources for slum communities, supplemented by hygiene education.

We have developed a plan to repair the many broken wells and latrines that exist in Ward 12, renewing these resources and installing a program for their continued upkeep by trained community health workers, who will collect data on the status of the facilities through a mobile system with GIS tracking.
