Personal contact from Wesleyan Fund volunteers helps strengthen the bond alumni and parents have with each other, the University, and the extended Wesleyan community. Such individualized, person-to-person connections are the foundation of the Wesleyan Fund. Wesleyan Fund volunteers serve as ambassadors for Wesleyan. Whether you’re a long-term volunteer or new to the team, please know we are grateful you have made Wesleyan a priority. Thank you for your dedication to–and for your own generous support of–Wesleyan.
Class Agents act as liaisons between classmates and Wesleyan to review and edit class correspondence, and encourage classmates to make gifts to Wesleyan through the Wesleyan Fund. They also lead a cadre of Associate Class Agents in these efforts. Class Agents play an important role in the overall success of the Wesleyan Fund. By writing letters, sending e-mails, and making phone calls, Class Agents can help generate record breaking class gifts and give everyone the chance to reconnect with Wesleyan. View the Class Agent Handbook (.pdf) for more information on what being a Class Agent entails or contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Reunion volunteers work with the Wesleyan Fund staff to guide the planning and implementation of the reunion celebration held each May. Reunion committee members encourage classmates to return for reunion, ask for financial support, and share the latest Reunion news via print and electronic communications. It is a great opportunity to reconnect with classmates before Reunion, and to help Wesleyan at the same time. For more information review the Reunion Handbook (.pdf) or contact us at email@example.com
Parent volunteers work closely with members of the University Relations staff to solicit selected parents via mailings and phone calls, personally asking them to contribute to the Wesleyan Fund.
